Partner Speaking Exercise:
With a partner, make predictions or talk about possibilities using the simple future tense. Complete these sentences using the simple future: algún día yo…, en cinco años mi esposo(a)/hijo(a)/amigo(a)…, el próximo año mis padres/abuelos/hijos…
Then ask your partner the same questions, but this time using a verb (e.g. ¿Algún día dónde viajarás? ¿En cinco años dónde trabajará tu esposa? ¿Tus padres vivirán en Cartagena el próximo año?)
Independent Speaking Exercise:
Practice regular and irregular verb conjugations by making a simple sentence using the future tense. Use the examples in this lesson as a guide. Choose three regular verbs and three irregular verbs and run through each of the conjugations, saying the practice sentence aloud (iré a Colombia el próximo año, irás a Colombia el próximo año, irá a Colombia, etc.).
