Flashcards are one of the oldest and most common methods for learning new vocabulary. For this course, we’ve created a large library of key sentences, complete with translations and native speaker audio. New flashcard sentences are introduced in each lesson and will play an instrumental role in helping you acquire the language.
Anki is a powerful flashcard app that uses SRS (spaced repetition system) to provide an efficient method of transferring information to long-term memory. This video explains what SRS is in some more depth, and here’s an example of how you can use Anki to learn languages.
For the purposes of using Anki with this course, we’ve created our own tutorial [link coming soon]. Essentially, you’ll have between 10 – 20 new flashcards to add to your study deck after each lesson. This way, the material you’re studying will build gradually and progressively. Before you know it, you’ll have more than 100 sentences in your target language committed to long-term memory!
