Using one of the platforms for finding a tutor or language exchange partner, practice the speaking activities below.

Partner Speaking Exercise:

  • Learn new AR, ER, and IR verbs with your Spanish teacher or a friend. Look up at least 7 additional verbs here and write them down with their English translations. Play charades by having one of you pick a new verb and subject pronoun (e.g., ella habla), and act it out for the other person to guess. Take turns until you’ve learned several new verbs.

Independent Speaking Exercise:

  • Look up at least 7 additional verbs here and write them down with their English translations. Without looking at the conjugations, practice saying each verb form aloud (yo hablo, tú hablas, ella habla, etc.).
